FAQ

The questions we get most, answered straight.

Frequently asked questions

Do you really pick it up?

Yes. We collect your racquet from your home, club, or office at a time you choose, and return it strung the next day. You don’t have to travel anywhere.

How long does a restring take?

We pick up your racquet and have it back to you the next day. The stringing itself is done carefully — we’re not rushing — so you get a proper job, not a ten-minute turn.

What strings do you carry?

The full range from every major brand: Babolat, Luxilon, Yonex, Solinco, Head, Wilson, Prince, Gamma, and Tecnifibre — polyester, multifilament, synthetic gut, and natural gut, plus overgrips. See our pricing page for exact string prices.

How do I know my strings need replacing?

If the string bed feels soft and spongy, the coating is fraying, or you’ve lost the crisp feel you had when it was fresh, it’s time. A good rule of thumb: restring every 30 hours of play.

What tension should I use?

Most racquets are strung between 45 and 60 pounds. Lower tension gives more power, higher tension gives more control. If you’re not sure, start in the middle of your frame’s recommended range — we’ll help you dial it in.

How much does it cost?

Overgrips from $15, full restrings from $45, natural gut from $90. The string is charged at the price shown on our pricing page — no markup, no hidden fees. Final quotes are confirmed when you book.

How do I pay?

We keep it simple — pay when we return your racquet, by card or transfer. We’ll confirm the exact amount when you book.

Do you do other racquet sports?

We focus on tennis. If you play a different racquet sport, get in touch and we’ll let you know what we can do.
